Your pumpkin awaits, Cinderella....
as we are off to the Summer Ball at the school. The ball is held every second year as you can imagine it is a huge amount of work for the committee (a team of parents) to organise. It is usually a wonderful event and a lot of fun. Last time they had a vodka luge* which provided great entertainment value for those not partaking (like me) to watch how silly people could get, who were partaking!
I took this photo as we were leaving home, using a self timer, and have quickly uploaded it.
Adam had his Leaver's Ball last night and he had a really great time, and his partner looked lovely. For some teachers it will be heavy going having a ball two nights in a row!
*A vodka luge is an ice sculpture, with a hole drilled in the top that and another exit out the side of the ice sculpture. Vodka is poured into the hole on the top and the person drinks from the tube at the side exit. Last time the sculpture was a horse’s head, but it can be anything.
