A heron fishing
Seemed to be doing quite well. This was in the Beauly Firth.
Blip 2. This fishing heron was in a nearby marshy pond. Both are examples of the ''Highland Hairy Heron,' genus heronus hairy.
Blip 3. You are going to ask me what this is, and I haven't a clue. It's at the very end of the Caledonian Canal, where it opens into the sea at Clachnaharry. (The silly Blipfoto people have printed it on its side. If you carefully tilt your device, you will get the idea,)
