The old day nursery

This building housed the day nursery where my son went when I first came to York in 1969. Until very recently it was still serving as a community centre for young and old alike. Now to be demolished, suspect yet more flats will be built on the site.

The extra blip is of two more scarecrows (mini ones) standing guard by the entrance to the local nursing home.
