The silence of the daisies.

The mercury hit 22 degrees C today and the heavens deluged just the once. Summer must have arrived at last!

Mrs T was of the opinion that the lawn need cutting. I hate chopping down daisies but a man has to do what he is told to do! The only deluge of the day got under way just as I had started slaughtering the innocent daisies!

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the garden mushrooms were pushing up from between the paving slabs, as can be seen in the"extra" photograph. A reminder that the days are now getting shorter and that Autumn can't be far away!
