Eh, aye...

The look says it all. The summer exhibition at the Pier Art Centre includes some pieces by Damien Hirst amongst others. We actually quite liked the sheep in formaldehyde, although living in a farming community a sheep isn't something we're unfamiliar with - alive or dead so we weren't quite sure what it was all about.

We also liked the large piece made from silver discs and the ceramics by two other artists but lots of it left us cold. Especially the numerous pieces of paper spray painted in two halves with different colours.

Ru decided yet again that what he loves about the Pier Arts Centre is the building... and this chair. I guess that's why he's studying product design rather than fine art.
