The burger run

Did another race today.
The Pleshey Friday night 5.
A 5 mile race, known locally as 'The Burger race' because each entrant doesn't get a medal or T-Shirt, but a free Burger at the end of the race.

This is myself with Nikki.
She lives 10 doors down, has lived 10 doors down for the 12 years I've lived here and I only found out she's a runner too (although in a rival club!!) about 2 weeks ago.
We've since become good friends and have been able to organize car sharing to runs, races and training.
