Baked whippet

The pug had burnt his nose twice so was locked in the kitchen, where he noisily protested, for the rest of the afternoon.

This was the first of no doubt many document burning fires. We have a shredder but it's not as much fun and you can't make ham and cheese toasties on top of a shredder either.

Earlier I'd done my first 50 mile plus run on the new bike, smiling all the way. Then I took Joe and Ruby round for a party, stopping off for another quick visit to the potential new home.
