The Avenue
I took Superzoom for a quick walk around the forest road this evening hoping to see a deer or squirrel. I always see them when I don`t have a camera with me so it was on the cards that I wouldn't see any today. I did see that the little birds that nest inside a tiny door in a neighbour's wall have returned and are feeding their young. I sat nearby and zoomed up but gave it away as I really needed the tripod. I checked inside a few weeks ago but there were no eggs although the nest was still there from last year. They are so quick darting in and out of the tiny opening above the door that I have no idea what sort of bird they are. I am hoping to get a photo one day to find out.
This photo is of one end of the Eichenallee (which translates as oak avenue), a popular walking and cycling spot for the locals. These people all made some reference to the camera or photography as they went by, as is pretty normal around here.
