Cullercoats Harbour Day - RNLI Lifeboat

Today was the first time we've ever visited this annual event, held to raise funds for the Cullercoats Lifeboat. (Cullercoats Bay is a small, pretty bay sandwiched between Tynemouth and Whitley Bay.)

Everyone seemed to be having lots of fun, and the Lifeboat was out near the shore doing "exercises". It has an impressive turn of speed and looked highly manoeuvrable. So of course it had to be blipped!

It looks best viewed large.
