Acrobatics!
I watched this and thought I must be seeing things. Then it did it again, and I was ready with camera aimed!
I have taken an extra photo of my 'set up', as I have been asked how I managed to get close to the birds. I sit on the chair with a book and the camera and after about 20 minutes there can be well over a dozen birds on the feeders and the tree and on the grass. Some are so close I could reach out and touch them. It has taken a long time for them to be so trusting They don't bother about Millie either. If it is raining I can stand in the doorway or have my seat in the car port. If it is really cold, wet and windy I take the photos from the window.
Our visitors went out for some time on their own this afternoon so I managed some time on my chair with my book,' Extraordinary People' by Peter May. An interesting point is that Enzo (the Hero) has Wardenburg Syndrome and some of my ex pupils had this. It usually gives people a white streak in their hair and also many with this are deaf.
I seem to spend my days baking, cooking and providing coffees and teas. So apologies for limited comments just now. I hope to manage a quick look and drop some stars here and there.
We had a sunnier and warmer day at last.
