Flat-out and Fearless

Is the theme for this years Festival of Speed!

Really glad we left the hotel early, made it to the car park by 7:30 and missed all the traffic.

So many highlights, the new Ferrari 488, the stunning Pagani Huayra, the GAS arena had some great riders as always and to top it off the weather was perfect.

No Lewis Hamilton this year but we did see a few famous faces, Jenson Button, Toto and Susie Wolf, Gene Simmons, Stirling Moss, Alan Davies and Amelia spotted Ben Collins (the stig) doing a talk on the super car stand.

Overall a great Daddy daughter bonding day, considering how many miles we walked and how long the day was, she put up with me brilliantly and never looked bored once. Apparently the food was her favourite thing followed by the Jaguar Land Rover stand and the Mercedes Keyholders grandstand, thinking about it, that was probably because of the free ice cream...

Great to be home to a chilled out Jules.....
