Elephant Hawmoth Profile

You know how a lot of people say they don't like moths? I mean, come on! Just look at this magnificent creature. It's an Elephant Hawk-moth.  It was sheltering from the chilly breeze late on Saturday afternoon, behind a fence post near Hunterston A nuclear power station. It was only too happy to crawl onto my finger for some warmth.
