Mum's rose

It has been quite a busy day with my brother coming over to have lunch with me. After he'd gone home again, all I wanted to do was sit and rest my foot. I still needed an entry for today though so I took a few shots of a rose from one of the two bouquets I'd bought a few days ago. One of these is also standing next to mum's photo and urn.

I'm definitely not looking forward to next week as hot weather and I do not go well together and temperatures are forecast to reach 30°C and higher!!
