Bottling up the Elderflower Champagne

This year I'm hoping for more success with this - it's been fermenting since Sunday so plenty of time to get that fizz going! To say last year's batch was mildly frizzante would be somewhat of an exaggeration!

The first day of our holiday was a very quiet affair (after the excesses of yesterday's party).

I did however write a list of gardening plans to fill our week (and randomly started writing down notes for a book - that I might have a go at penning). Mum, you always said you thought I'd write one!
