Portland Farmers Market

Portland Farmers Market.  It was thankfully overcast this morning, although still hot, it made it more comfortable to be out about.  We bought many delicious veggies and berries, I am particularly looking forward to eating the artichokes.  Also bought a beautiful frisée lettuce with which I am going to make a salad for supper tonight.

I was up early this morning, 4:30 a.m., to make sure the garden had plenty of water, it was still 73ºF (23ºC) at that time, not particularly cool but cool-er.  Having such high temps in June make me worry about the rest of summer.
