Victoria Battery

Today we went for a cycle along the Karangahake Gorge Rail Trail. We almost cycled to Waihi, a total of 27km. On the way we came across the Victoria Battery. An old gold mining area at Waikino. Fascinating ruins and old rusty machinery. Will definitely go back again and take more photos!
