Toward the Snake River

This shows the Snake River, which we hiked a couple of thousand feet down to be closer to, but didn't do the last thousand feet to the bottom, partly for fear that we wouldn't be able to get back up the hill, and partly because we couldn't find the trail to get us all the way down. Awesome from above as well. It is hard to believe people homesteaded and farmed here.
