Eldwick Gala

Yesterday we had a lie in and a lazy breakfast, then wandered up to the local gala. The highlight of this was the terrier racing. To be clear - I'm against dog racing generally. This, however, was basically people's pets just running wild in a field. I don't think there are any animal welfare concerns in this instance. It was chaos!

We met our old neighbours and had a couple of local ales, before heading home for tea and watching glasto on telly. Saw a bit of Kanye - that was interesting! Then turned over to Suede - a band I liked in the 90's, but were a bit boring... compared to the Libertines the day before, it was all a bit boring.
