Falls of Lora
The view from Connel Bridge (extra photo). The falls are caused by a difference in height between the tide and the water in Loch Etive. We weren't there at the best time to see the falls, but we did enjoy the view out to the west.
The bridge itself is remarkable. It was originally a railway bridge, and then operated for many years as a combined road and rail bridge. Vehicles and trains could not use the bridge at the same time. Now it is a single track road bridge.
