i-eye Day 24:-Playlist

So I thought I'd assemble a playlist of 50 songs, one for each state of the USA for our forthcoming trip (not that we will be undertaking much of a road trip this time!).

Each song mush have a connection of some sort, however tenuous, to the state, and also it must be a song we actually want to listen to. The latter stipulation makes it impossible tricky. Stuck on a few, Iowa (Slipknot are vetoed), Idaho, Wyoming and the like. 

Thank goodness for Bob Dylan being born in Minnesota. And Dave Grohl in Ohio. And thank you Perry Como for What did Delaware!
 

Sigh - first world problems.....


Final list - this is to keep 2 fifty year olds, a 17 year old and a 19 year old happy. Minimal country music was allowed so that restricted my choices even further! Plus only one song from each artist (although Dave Grohl might be in there twice) otherwise it'd all just be Bruce Springsteen. I am going to replace the Idaho song with The Boise Back in Town at the genius suggestion of Ellisroger.
