Photography Books

I gathered up my books on photography today to do a quick still life. I'm slightly embarrassed to say I don't remember how I acquired some of them. It must have seemed like a good idea at the time!  I do remember that the Digital Photography for Dummies book was given to me as leaving present when I left my job at the end of year - were they trying to tell me something?
