Welcome distraction...

Distracting from the events...yesterday morning we received a call from my dad. My bro had had a good night. He had been responsive. And shook his head no when they ask if he was experiencing pain. He did so well that they we're going to remove the ventilator. But in doing that they requested no visitors for the day. Mom was understanding but disappointed.
We made the most of it and shopped and had lunch and talked. We talked a lot about our family and issues. Things that were never dealt with that need to be fixed. We agreed, that in the light of this, life is too short and we need to talk care of things. My sister in law had also talked about thus the day before. Looks like it took this to wake us up.
Later mom and I grabbed hubby and took her to dinner at Luna Grill. She had hummus for the first time. And the walked around IKEA. The cinnamon rolls got her on the way out and we had yogurt.
We came home And crashed. It's has been exhausting. Not sure what Sunday will bring.
