And the Town Mayor had a Ducking!

After a damp morning :-( the sun came out :-) and The 16th Annual Duck Race got off to a slow start as there was very little water in the brook.  Helped along by the Town Mayor and Scouts in canoes the ducks battled against the prevailing wind and managed to get up speed at the weir just before the finishing post net.  Just before the weir the Town Mayor's canoe turned over, perhaps with a little help from some Scouts!  A fun afternoon.
