Penshaw Monument, Tyne and Wear

Travelling down from Northumberland to York, this morning, I stopped off for a quick look at the Penshaw Monument. Although I had previously photographed this illuminated in the evening I wanted to take a look at in daylight.
I much preferred the monochrome version of the image.
