A Splendour of Poppies

I launched attack on the weeds today. In every single area of my life (with the exception, surprisingly, of blip) I am unable to adopt a little and often approach which means traditionally I spend two days a years on my garden and then am surprised when it is not stunningly beautiful. This will All Change with the advent of working in the garden so perhaps, hopefully, I wont have to spend similar hours to today trying to eliminate robust weeds which are now growing inside the plants I actually want to keep.

The poppies have been stunningly beautiful this year though. Normally I collect and scatter their seeds, I didnt last year due to the leg thing and this was their finest year ever - so that is one area I can just leave be.

In other news, Will went swimming with the neighbours and Daisy painted a Monet. A good restful day with achievements also made, just super. Sundays where I dont have to go away tomorrow are really nice days.
