Ornamental Poppy

Another lazy day, another lazy shot. But what a stupendous poppy growing in our garden next to the pond!

I finished wrapping up my box for the courier tomorrow.

Len erected a little fence, a brown plastic palisade, around the pond, in a bid to prevent Basil going there to drink, as he's convinced it's poisonous.

It's rather spoilt the aspect. I'd have liked more space between the posts so that you could at least see a bit of the pond beyond it. Perhaps a blip for another day.

George decided to come to ours for a barbecue today, so we all enjoyed a quiet, leisured afternoon. Kat had brought the Uno cards. We enjoyed several rounds with the tea after lunch.
