Red squirrel in the rain

We went to Kielder water and forest in Northumberland. Unfortunately it was fog and heavy rain but we headed to Leaplish to the red squirrel hide and saw several endangered red squirrels up close. The squirrels didn't seem to mind sitting eating in the rain and we enjoyed the shelter with the view. I added an extra photo of some squirrels since I took so many pics.

Later this afternoon we headed to South Shields to visit my family and the weather was beautiful there and we sat outside having a ice-cream. Unlucky about the weather in Kielder not been like that!
