lovely day...

It started out a bit grim so I did the work I had to do. I then went off to find the places (very few)  that barn owls have been spotted around here - via the I Spy a Barn Owl website. As with anything, spending time looking at the right time of day may bring a result...
After that to Rabbit Ings where the wild flowers are already amazing and will be more amazing after this hot week we are forecast....bugtastic too I reckon. Then to OM where I watched a ruby tailed wasp trying to get in a solitary bee hole, it went head first, came out, bum first and then success!

The poppies are from the barn owl recce on a roadside somewhere...
