Wet park

Mixed day. Most dramatic bit was a tumble halfway down the stairs - even though he was bumping down on his bottom. He turned to talk to daddy who was coming down behind him and somehow toppled. Got away with a bumped chin and nose which will probably be very bruised tomorrow.

Next we took a nice trip to the park which was lovely but ended up somewhat soggy - the rain came and went for a bit but eventually we were rained off and mummy and daddy got very wet coming home (the roof of the bike kept Matthew lovely and dry).

Post nap we had a somewhat volatile boy who repeatedly had to be asked to stop shrieking and ask nicely for help. A phase I will not be sad to see him grow out of! Still he had a nice little talk with granny and grandad snape on the phone and did some lovely reading of the very hungry caterpillar. It's amazing how much he remembers of books to join in :)
