Waiting To Board

Phew.  A long day of traveling with a very chatty six year old!

We left Vero Beach at 10:30 this morning, and have just arrived home in Connecticut within the last 20 minutes -- it's 8:18 p.m. now.  We've just tucked His Highness into bed, after reading several stories, and all is amazingly quiet all of a sudden!  Jackson was a real trooper today, considering his age, he was amazingly patient with the whole "hurry up and wait" aspect of modern day air travel.  This is a shot I snuck while he was building race cars on my iPad as we waited for our plane to arrive. 

Mr. W and I are savouring a well deserved glass of wine, and reveling in the peace and quiet that's just descended (... until tomorrow morning!)
