White crepe myrtles at church today

Took this at 6:30am this morning, when we first arrived at church to open up and get all the a/c units running full load for the day.   Love the white and yellow blooms when they first come out.  Disappointingly the white quickly browns in the hot sun.   My crepe myrtles are fuchsia coloured and keep their colour much longer.

My extra photo is included for Iainatcreel as we were talking about Orkney ferries yesterday.  That is me on the Westray ferry back in 1964.  The Noup Head.  I had no fear.  Was it my brother my mother was lounging for?  NO!  It was me!
