Over the sea...

What a morning, Fred and I kayaked out to Monk's island with dad and the kids in the Blue Peter. It was just like what i did when we were little, so fun. The kids were blown away by seeing seals and otter tracks and a heronry take flight. Wow!
Fred and I went for a wee swim after, which was great.
Sina and Ollie came down with the kids and we waited for Matt and Laurie to get back from their epic climb of Grey Panther on the Kilt rocks (Laurie was so pleased)!!!!
We headed off to the Fossil museum and A and S loved it, seeing how big all the footprints were. Then off to Staffin Beach to try to find the actual print- no luck! S took his shoes off and ran like the wind. The girls played rock hopping and leapt all over the beach!
Then to Digg and the Wee Cosy Tea Shop and had yummy cake and jasmine tea. Very sweet, Sina's eldest and A sang loads of nursery rhymes, it was very sweet.
Ollie cooked us up a seafood feast in the evening- scallops, risotto, spicy prawns, wow!!!
