Lyin' on the Lines with my Lion (and Zebra)

Took our youngest grandchild to the Melbourne Zoo today. It was so much more of a revelation with a camera in my hand.  How it has changed since my childhood when frustrated animals paced up and down endlessly in restricted bare cages.  Same location, but unrecognisable now with huge enclosures surrounded by bamboo forests and dense vegetation. A real adventure park for kids. Well, I was pretty hard put to stick to the mono theme.  I just have to put up some extras because I will not get back there again for a while. I have another bird or two (an improvement on my cockatoo I think) and a meerkat.
