In 'Puffin' heaven (Backblip)

My very favourite day here. We went on the boat 'Serenity II' over to the Farne Islands. The skipper was fantastic and gave us a full tour round the Islands, getting very close beside Staple Island where we saw the amazing sight of hundreds of nesting seabirds including my fist sighting of the delightful Puffins, then the Arctic Terns, Fulmas, Kittiwakes, Cormorants, Shags and more. Then we landed at Inner Farne where we got bombed by the Terns protecting their young and spent our precious hour on the Island mostly with the Puffins.
On the way home we were joined by some dolphins who rode the boat's bow wave and accompanied us all the way back to Seahouses harbour, giving us a wonderful display.
A truly memorable day.

No internet where we're staying so am drinking more coffee than ever at Coffee One in Seahouses to post when I can. So sorry about even worse lack of comments though.
