Child's play

I just happened to notice my cousins's little girl sitting by herself one evening looking at a french pop-up book. The lighting on her was perfect. It was a bit of a struggle for my compact to capture this low light shot (hence the grainyness/blur), but using flash would of spoiled it.

I love the candidness of this shot. I had actually tried to get her attention, but she was so engrossed that she never looked up, and the picture is all the better for it.
