Edinburgh day 1

Miraculously we all arrived from various corners of the globe - Cork, Manchester, Cardiff and Bristol - and gathered in Edinburgh where my brother was one of the 'masters' showing some of his films at the Film Festival. It is also his 60th birthday and we all arrived in time to head off to David Bann's veggie restaurant for a delicious birthday meal. We were staying in a massive apartment right on the canal which was also preparing for a festival.
