Getty Tour - Aberdeen

I haven't been in Aberdeen for years! It was lovely meeting up with SU people in their home city for once who I don't get to see much.

This was the first performance I was taking part in. The Music Hall was packed and the whole thing was just stunning - musicians, choir, congregation...can't wait to do it all again tomorrow!

Afterwards I got the chance to play some trad stuff with the Getty's band. It's not every day you can say you've jammed with the lead guitarist from River Dance :D It was slightly awkward though as they knew loads of American/Irish tunes but not many Scottish ones. We gave it a go anyway!
