Coccinella 7-punctata

Rich was only saying yesterday, as we were walking through it, that there were sure to be deer in the field that I spend so much time in.  Today, I saw one.  But it had seen me first!

I haven’t noticed many ladybirds this year so this British seven spot is my little find of the day.

What a great name!
