Peal of Bells
Campanula cochlearifolia, aka Fairy's Thimbles flowering profusely across a raised bed. It is nomadic by nature, moving around the garden, especially enjoying the loose, stony surface layer. I'm glad to be here to see it at it's best, the heat that is on it's way this week will send the flowers over all too soon,
This is plant that brings back many good memories of trips to the Alps. Perhaps my friends in the mountains will be spotting it on their travels this summer.
