A cool spot

My garden faces south so on a hot day there is not much respite from the heat. Luckily there are large trees at the bottom of the garden and after some weeding I sat amongst the ferns and shadows reading. I feel so lucky to be retired and my heart goes out to all the commuters struggling home in the heat.
