Going home

It's been another one of those days and really GOOD!

G organised for a tow-truck to take her car from the Peugeot garage to a place in Sharjah who will put in a second-hand gearbox. That took longer than planned but she got back home in time to cook lunch for 2 colleagues I invited. It's easier to do this during Ramadan as we have shorter days.

We had a really good afternoon! Jacqueline and Tana were very easy to have and relaxed and no fusses! We dropped them home after we finished watching a couple of episodes of Creature Comforts. And my blip is of us coming back into our precinct, just before the breaking of the fast... a time we avoid being out on the road on as the driving can be very erratic and dangerous. Saw Iftar's being laid out for people less well-off around our local mosque and I hope to blip that soon.

And the new popcorn maker got used today; and it works really well! We watched Julie & Julia real movie- style! :)

And I finally blipped Friday!
