Tomorrow sees the annual village fete; it's usually a great do with lots of stalls and things to do. The Beavers and Cubs are having a stall to raise some funds: a two pronged attack with "Splat the Rat" (actually a duck but there you go, you have to hit the duck with a mallet as it comes out of a drain pipe at top speed) and jam jars filled with random things (some nice, some not so nice). Each jar has a raffle ticket attached that ends in a 3, 6 or 9; if you draw a winning ticket you get the matching jar.

Now, where did I put those worms?
