Evening

Somehow the day got away from me. 

It all started off so well. I was out on the garden at 6.30am before the sun got too hot, then we had an invitation to visit our old friends & ex-neighbours in their new house in a nearby village for lunch. 

We turned up at noon and got home at 7.30pm. I then promptly fell asleep. It must be the heat I think. After I woke up I went out by the river just as the sun was setting. 

And now it won't be long before I go to bed.
