Monday: Up Above

To be at an event with one President might be considered fortuitous.  To be at an event with two might be considered greedy.  Today I was a little greedy as I got to attend an event with the Presidents of both Croatia and Lithuania - both women, which is always heartening.

And the venue afforded a great view over the city too.

It's been a bit of a slow read but I have now finished 'Apartheid's Friends - The Rise And Fall Of South Africa's Secret Service' by James Sanders.  It was part dry, part very interesting.  I have maintained an interest in South Africa since I used to live there and it was a chapter in their history that bears recording.
