Sleeping Beauty

I really enjoy my brief walk around the campus before I start work, especially at this time of the year. I have the chance to explore around the pond when it's really quiet, now the students have gone home for the summer.

This very sleepy bumble bee was snoozing away and waiting for the sun to warm its little body before it could go buzzing madly around enjoying the nectar and collecting pollen all day.
