Like going to Napier all over again

A super C20 tour around Leicester's finest buildings from the last one hundred years. It was organised by the C20 society of South Yorkshire. An enlightening look at this city's architecture. Highlight of the tour was, to the groups great surprise, getting inside the amazing UOL Engineering Building. The interior a wonderland of concrete, red brick idiosyncrasy it features the beautiful "anniversary tapestry" by Eduardo Paolozzi. Views outside give superb views across the city, but most interestingly gives a sense of vast scale of the iconic glazing. An honour to go inside, it was like going to Napier all over again! Just wish I'd took my SLR camera!
