Snowy

J, where we were staying had taken in some owls. Some like this one had been born in captivity and others were rescued owls. None of them are allowed to be released. He took them over from an institution on Mull which had closed down. Snowy reached 11 years old this June. The extras photo is an eagle owl who was not very friendly and I was relieved to beat a hasty retreat after being in the cage with him.
