This bear pair has been part of our household for many years.  They originated in northern California and were handmade by a woman there, she calls them Runzelvolks.....anyway, she used to make all kinds of beings, including Kris Kringle, elves, Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, Easter rabbits, and on and on.  Their faces are made of women's stockings, all their clothes are handmade and they're decorated to suit the artist's fancy.  Cute and adorable and being so woodsy and outdoorsy, we brought them to the lake with us!!!  Sort of an emergency blip because we were very busy again today and I did not have my camera with me while we were out and about.  Grabbed the camera when we were about done for the day, and they were handy subjects!!!  :)
