On The Porch

I hosted a little social gathering.  It was announced only a few hours before it began, there was far too much food, but still I am glad.  

I have inherited a gas grill, and that precipitated the Barbecue. I have been over Margie's place (she is at right) dozens of times to eat and socialize, but this is the first time in the reverse.  It means that I, whose world has become so small in recent years, have poked my head far enough above the ground to invite friends to my home, and then not remain alone.  

All friends, all good people, all cat lovers. Drahos (black shirt) has worked in Antarctica. Verity (extra pic) loves cats and watermelon too.
