Slow Roasted Pheasant Anyone?

Our resident pheasant toasting himself in the hot sun......every so often he got up and had a drink from the nearby bird bath......other than that he just sat and roasted!!!

I will keep this brief as it is mostly moaning, sorry :-(
My back is playing up again ( I'm not after any sympathy, just documenting the fact), so I'm having trouble sitting at the computer :-(
My outdoor thermometer read 26 degrees in the shade at 9.30 this morning and I'm too hot too soon :-(
It's my granddaughter's birthday today.....good news you might think but that means this afternoon I have to go out in a car with no air conditioning that has been sitting in full sun all day, with a bad back (me not the car!!) and lug a bag of presents in and out of said car whilst slowly baking in the sun :-((

Actually.....feel free to have a giggle at my moaning......as I read it back to myself before uploading, I found it quite funny but I'm glad I got it off my chest ;-)))
